DVD Rental On The Internet

By

You haven't signed up for a Netflix membership yet? There's just nothing like DVD rental from Netflix. You can browse movies, documentaries, music video titles and more all from the comfort of your home or office computer, as well as receive recommendations for other movies that you might be interested in based on our rental history.

There are also other handy features to help you find the movies that would most interest you or your family. Once you've rated some movies you can check out the recommendations section. The recommendations section is split up into various genres so you can better navigate the recommended movies.

If you want to grant access to your family, Netflix has many nifty features you may wish to take advantage of. First of all, you can give each member of your household their own queue. If you have children you may limit the movies they're able to rent according to ratings. You can decide how many DVDs each family member is allowed to have out at a time and the uber user can glance at every household member's list -just to make sure the kids aren't renting something that will have them up scared

to sleep all night.

Sure, there are other DVD rental programs on the internet, but none of them compare to Netflix in terms of price, selection, fast shipping or ease of use. Speaking of variety, this is the area where Netflix blows all competition out of the water. I've found things at Netflix that I didn't even know existed, relating to special interests of mine. If they don't have a title, you can recommend it through the site and they'll let you know when they add it to their selection.

Blockbuster rents edited movies, Wal-Mart is the enemy of working class America and exploited workers around the world, and besides, their online DVD rental selection sucks big time. Honestly, folks, nothing competes with the Netflix DVD rental program.

The only drawback -and only in some areas, mind you-is that shipping is not as lightning fast in particular areas and there's no telling if your area is a slow zone until you try it out. I lived in a tiny Texas town while going to college. I could drop a Netflix in the mail on Monday and have all new titles by Wednesday. Now for some reason when I moved back to Houston, fourth largest city in the U.S., and with a recent Netflix hub installed in the area, it takes twice as long or more to get movies replaced. Now explain that one to me.

I'm just spoiled from the super fast Netflix service that is available in many places. In truth, it's still the best deal around. Their variety cannot be beat and I still save several dollars a month as compared to renting from a local DVD rental shop, so I can't complain.
